Explore a vast collection of full-text articles with JSTOR
Need to find some journal articles? Try searching JSTOR, a full-text archive of key academic journals covering the humanities, social sciences and sciences. The archive will always start with volume 1 (in some instances going back to the 1880s). Each journal will have its own end date, usually with a "moving wall" between 2 and 5 years.
Search JSTOR for a subject or to find a specific article. Individual journal titles are also accessible from Unicorn and the E-journals Finder.
Performing a search
When you enter the database you are presented with the basic search screen, where you can simply type in a keyword to start generating results. Opt for the advanced search option and you can add more limits to your search, by searching for a specific publication or discipline and/or limiting your search to only full-text.
Need more recent volumes?
If you require a more recent volume which is not available from JSTOR, remember to check Unicorn using the 'Journal title search' option - it's possible that the Library has a current print subscription or has more online access via a different database.
