Direct export
Direct export is the easiest way to get references from a database into your EndNote library. Many databases offer this facility.
- It allows you to save directly from the database into your EndNote Library - just choose the export option when saving your references
- EndNote will be automatically opened
- To use some direct export facilities you will need the appropriate filter - most are included with the EndNote software
Help
To find out what method a database uses, and for help, take a look at the information page for the database via the Databases a-z list.
