Direct export

Direct export is the easiest way to get references from a database into your EndNote library. Many databases offer this facility.

  • It allows you to save directly from the database into your EndNote Library - just choose the export option when saving your references
  • EndNote will be automatically opened
  • To use some direct export facilities you will need the appropriate filter - most are included with the EndNote software
