Student Campus Cards and PINs (Greenlands students)
Student Campus Cards
UK-based students may wish to make use of the University Library at the Whiteknights campus. Any student may use the Library for reference or study purposes but in order to borrow items you will need to obtain a Student Campus Card.
You may visit the Student Services Centre (Carrington Building) during office hours (09:00 – 16:45, week days only) to obtain your card.
If you are a Distance Learner, and unable to visit the Library during these times, it may be possible to arrange for a card to be produced and either sent to you or made ready for collection at your next visit.
To do this you will need to email n.g.hollis@reading.ac.uk with the following details:
- Your student number
- Your University username
- A return postal address (if you wish to have the card sent back to you)
In order to print the card we shall require a passport-style digital image of you. The image should be "head and shoulders" only and you should have the image taken in front of a plain, light-coloured background. The file should be saved in .jpeg format.
PIN numbers
A PIN number is created for each student for use with their Student Campus Card. If you do not know your PIN number or you have forgotten it, you can request a reminder to be sent by email by completing a PIN reminder form.
