Postgraduate study trip to Geneva
The School of Law at the University of Reading is very pleased that it will again be offering a three or four day study trip to Geneva to visit several international organisations and meet with their staff.
Students who went to Geneva in 2008-09 found it to be an excellent experience, providing valuable insights for careers and studies. The trip is heavily subsidized by the School. In 2008-09 students had to contribute £80 and we expect it will be about the same again this year. This will cover all flights, accommodation, transfers and some meals.
The study trip is open to students on all postgraduate programmes, though it expected that preference will be given to those on the LLM International Law & World Order programme and to students who are studying modules with an international focus.
'Pg': A Newsletter for Law Postgraduates at Reading
The School's newsletter comes out three times a year. If you would like to receive the next issue then please let us know at law-pg-admissions@lists.reading.ac.uk and we will include you on our email list.
The Law School's Pro Bono Programme
The School of Law at Reading has an extensive range of pro-bono opportunities available to students at both postgraduate and undergraduate level. It is an excellent opportunity to be trained in a range of skills and to volunteer with community-based organisations.
