Our innovative postgraduate courses are wide ranging, allowing you to pursue your interests and build upon previous learning and skills. The courses are designed and taught by specialist academics working on cutting-edge research in the field, many of whom also are engaged in policy and practice, and aim to develop the practical skills that employers are looking for.

exciting and diverse courses

All of our LLM courses are associated with research clusters led by academic staff. The modules on offer enable students to take advantage of the School's research strengths in the fields of international law, commercial law, European law, crisis, conflict and disaster management, and human rights.

We also offer MRes and MA by Research courses which are suited to students considering future PhD study, or those wanting to build a career which requires high-level research skills.

All students on the International, Human Rights and Advanced Legal Studies courses are required to take one or more compulsory modules, plus a number of optional modules. Take advantage of the School's research strengths, which include the following fields:

We offer double master's courses with a range of leading partner universities worldwide, including Peking University and Renmin University in China, ALBA in Greece, MGIMO in Russia, Hanyang University in South Korea, and CYCU and National Taipei University in Taiwan.
