Business meetingThe Knowledge Transfer Centre at the University of Reading has been responsible for promoting and managing knowledge transfer activities between industry (including charities and not for profit organisations) and academics since 1994, and to date has supported over 200 partnerships.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) 

The Knowledge Transfer Centre leads one of the most successful KTP programmes in the UK, as well as promoting other knowledge transfer Scientist at a computeropportunities.

Partnerships supported by the Knowledge Transfer Centre have won a number of national awards for their work, including:

  • 2010 - Academic Excellence Award (Professor Rachel McCrindle, School of Systems Engineering)
  • 2009 - Best ESRC-funded Partnership exhibiting the application of Management or Social Science (in partnership with the Riding for the Disabled Association)
