KTP for graduates
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships enable recently qualified graduates (KTP Associates) to work on a challenging project central to the development needs of participating companies, with the full support of an academic mentor.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships aim to provide:
- A great platform to launch your career
- A professional qualification and the potential to gain a higher degree
- The ability to earn an industry standard salary
- Ownership of an exciting project
How does it work?
Through KTP you play a key role in managing and implementing strategic developments in a business by transferring knowledge between business and the University. KTP Associates own their project and are supported by experienced staff from the company and the University. Typical projects could include: designing and introducing new or improved products, processes or services, introducing improved quality systems and technology, or developing and implementing business strategies to break into new markets.
The projects last between 12 and 36 months with approximately 70% of Associates offered employment by the host company at the end of the project.
