  Welcome to the Informatics Research Group, part of the School of Systems Engineering at the University of Reading. Informatics is the study of the creation, management and utilisation of information in scientific and economic activities using computational and communication technologies. It is concerned with the effective use of information resources in modern society. The research work addresses theoretical issues as well as practical questions.
