I have worked in CSS (Central Services Section) since 1987. My role has developed so that now I have a bigger input into practical classes, laboratory layout, preparation of bacterial cultures for practicals, insect rearing, stains and reagents, and equipment maintenance.
I am lead Technician for 1st year Introductory Micro practicals and I'm currently applying to the Science Council to be a registered Science Technician.
