Green Week 2-6 November

To showcase the University’s environmental and sustainability performance to date, as well as launch future green initiatives, we will be holding its first annual Green Week between 2nd & 6th November.

The week will be packed full of activities for staff, students and the local community and you can find the whole programme by visiting the Clean and Green website and clicking on the Green Week link. Whether you are interested in our world leading climate research, want to debate the future of recycling or want advice on how to be greener at work and at home our programme of activities has something for everyone.

Staff and students will also be encouraged to make their environmental pledge and to become a campus ambassador for sustainability awareness by signing up to become an ‘Environmental Champion’.

We look forward to welcoming you to events across the week, in particular don’t forget to pop into the Palmer building between 12:30 and 14:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday and 3Sixty on Wednesday to view the Green Exhibition where you will have the opportunity to talk to FMD about current sustainability projects, have your bike data tagged and enjoy freebies and prizes.

If you have any questions or require any further information or would like to sign up to become an Environmental Champion please email eest@reading.ac.uk
