    Representation: Internal

    Postgraduate Representation Group
RUSU's Postgraduate Representative Group (PGRG) focuses on supporting post grad students during their university experience. This can be through academic support awareness, networking with like minded fellow students or attending social events.

  • RUSU Student Academic Representatives (StARs)

StARs (Student Academic Representatives) provide the first line of student representation within the University and use student feedback in a number of ways. Further information about their role and that of Education Reps can be found on the dedicated area of the  RUSU website.
  • Guidance notes for student representatives

The Notes of guidance for student representatives are part of a suite of guidance notes on student representation on Boards and Committees. The aim of these Notes of Guidance is to set out the University’s expectation in the area of student representation on Faculty-level Boards and Committees, including Faculty Student/Staff Committees, and to highlight areas of good practice.

  • Representation: External

    National Union of Students (NUS)

NUS, a voluntary membership organisation, is one of the largest student organisations in the world and it provides research, representation, training and advice for individual students and students' unions.
