RobertsonCooperFree on-line i-resilience report

Complete the Robertson-Cooper validated personality questionnaire and, based on the responses, the i-resilience report reveals which of the four key components users naturally draw on for resilience - confidence, adaptability, purposefulness and the need for social support

i-resilience provides a comprehensive understanding of personal resilience and gives examples of how this could impact on users responses to demanding work situations. The personal i-resilience report allows users to build on existing areas of strength, and also allows them to manage any potential areas of risk. The i-resilience portal then allows users to develop their resilience in line with the results of their report.

If you'd like to take the questionnaire please visit the Robertson Cooper site.

Are you getting enought sleep?

Employee Assistance Programme - Confidential Care

The University provides an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), called Confidential Care, as part of our health and well-being strategy to provide a supportive and healthy environment for staff.

Support is available for whatever issues you might be facing, including work stress, depression, marriage and relationship issues, legal concerns, coping with change, parenting issues, financial problems, health issues and much more.

Confidential Care is independent, free and completely confidential, providing a comprehensive range of support and advice services to staff including:

  • Health and wellbeing advice and information
  • Telephone counselling;
  • Face to face counselling;
  • Counselling & emotional support;
  • Everyday matters;
  • Debt & financial management;
  • Legal and tax advice;
  • Family care;

Experienced, professional counsellors are available to listen to your concerns, determine appropriate resources, and then help you take the next steps. Confidential Care is provided by CIC and all counsellors are fully accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
