Keeping in touch with student leavers
Thursday, 04 June 2020
As we approach the end of the summer term, we will be writing to all students expecting to complete their studies this year to ask them to update their contact details and preferences on the RISIS Leaver’s Screen.
The primary purpose is to capture accurate contact information to share with HESA to conduct the Graduate Outcomes survey, which is sent to students 15 months after graduation. The aim of this government-led survey, previously known as the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE), is to gain insight into the perspectives and destinations of graduates across the UK. The results will be used by the government and other third parties, for example university league tables. We also use the survey insights to help us evaluate our courses and Careers support.
We are also using this as an opportunity to remind students of the exclusive benefits available to them as members of our alumni community. This includes careers coaching, training and access to professional networks and events.
Please encourage all students who will be completing their studies this year to complete the RISIS Leaver’s Screen (accessed by logging in to RISIS as normal), so we can keep in touch.
