Audience wanted for Radio 4 quiz show
Wednesday, 22 January 2020
BBC Radio 4 quiz show The 3rd Degree will be coming to the University of Reading next Tuesday, 28 January 2020.
The 3rd Degree is a show that pits three Undergraduate students against three members of staff in a general knowledge and specialist subject quiz.
Hosted by Steve Punt, the show is recorded on location at a different university each week with an audience composed of students and staff from that university.
The rounds vary between Specialist Knowledge and General Knowledge, with quickfire bell-and-buzzer rounds and individual questions. The two teams sit at desks on opposite sides of the stage with the Chair in between.
The teams of staff and students have now been selected, but you can still take part as a member of the audience.
The recording will take place at the Minghella Studios on Whiteknights Campus from 18:00 on Tuesday 28 January, with doors open to audience members from 17:30.
Places are free, but will be first come, first served, so get there early to avoid disappointment!
