Universal Voices 'Bring a Buddy' session, Thursday 19 October

Universal Voices children's choir

The choir performed at the Big Band Big Lunch earlier this summer.

Universal Voices is a free children’s choir at the Institute of Education (IoE), University of Reading for children aged 7-12.

Rehearsals are held every Thursday at 4.45 - 6.00 pm at our London road campus – and this week, members can bring along a friend for a special 'Bring a Buddy' session!

The choir has proven popular with children in the local area – so if your child is already a member, please encourage them to invite a friend to this week’s rehearsal.

The open invitation also extends to parents, guardians and teachers –please come along and see the choir’s work in action, meet the other members and most importantly, sing along!

Under the directorship of Dr Rebecca Berkley, the choir enables children to develop their singing and musicianship skills through fun, practical rehearsals and high quality performance. Boys and girls will receive specialist vocal training from IoE music education students, and will be taught music reading and singing technique.
