Smartphone Configuration
IT Services advise that you make sure you are signed out of any Hotmail or Windows Live account before following this guide.
You cannot setup your Smartphone until you have completed the readingLive Password Reset process.
The How to set up Email on a Smartphone page shows how to set up readingLive on a Smartphone and it has specialised links for the iPhone, Blackberry Curve etc. This external page is a generic one provided by Microsoft.
Server Settings
Sign in via live.reading.ac.uk using a browser to find your server settings.
After you sign in, click the drop-down arrow next to the Help question mark, and then click About.
The IMAP4 server name and other settings you may need to enter are listed on the About page under External IMAP setting.
The SMTP server name and other settings are listed under External SMTP setting.
