Registration

You will need to register in order to take part in the Award. You can do so through the RISISweb Portal - register now!

 Next Steps

The RED Award is your Award; you can complete it in many different ways depending on your interests. It is up to you to choose the activities that you would like to use to complete the Award; you can take part in volunteering, paid work or work experience as well as completing some other activities.

Using the Doing the Award pages should give you all the information you need in order to complete your Award.

How long do I have to complete the Award?

You can complete your Award in a year or spend as long as you are registered on your degree programme completing it.

We recommend that you complete your Award in either your first or second year at Reading, as this is when you have more time to complete all the activities. It's also a great place to start with building up your employability skills.

Students can complete the Award multiple times if they wish, but not more than once in a year.
