Transport to Symphony Orchestra rehearsal

Taxis are available each Monday of term to transport members of University of Reading Symphony Orchestra to and from rehearsal on the Bulmershe campus.

This service is for people with large instruments to carry, or who are not within walking distance of Bulmershe. If you feel unsure about walking back at night, you may request a taxi for the return journey only.

Taxis are available from two locations:

• TOB2, Earley Gate at 6:30 pm
• St Patrick's Hall at 6:30 pm

Transport is also available after the rehearsal - at 9:30 pm from Bulmershe Students Union - dropping off at the same two locations.

• If you would like to request transport, please complete the request form below.
• The form must be submitted by 9 am on the morning of the rehearsal in order to guarantee your booking. If you submit after 9 am, even though you receive an automatic confirmation message, your taxi may not be booked. Please email symphony@reading.ac.uk with any problems.
• If you request transport, please ensure that you are ready and waiting at the specified place and time.
