chamber choir

Chamber Choir is perfect for singers who like to sing challenging music and who are already comfortable sight singing to at least an intermediate level. Musicianship training will be integrated into each rehearsal to build choral skills to an advanced level. Chamber Choir is an auditioned choir of approximately 25 places with a professional director, meeting for weekly evening rehearsals in term time and giving 4-5 performances during the academic year.

Rehearsals take place on Thursdays in term time, 18.30 - 20.30.

Repertoire for this year includes:

Totus Tuus - Henryk Gorecki

Serenissima Una Noche - Fray Geronimo Gonzales

Benedicamus Domino - Peter Warlock

Venite, Gaudete! - Adrian Peacock

Nyon Nyon - Jake Runestad

And much much more!

Chamber Choir is conducted by Patrick Barrett, to find out more about Patrick, click here.

'Being in Chamber Choir gave me amazing opportunities, like filming for the BBC and singing as part of the Brandenburg Festival in London, that I wouldn't have had otherwise, and I got to do it with some of my best friends! What's not to love'

Emily Freeman, Alumni of Primary Education with Music Specialism, and Chamber Choir member 2014-2017
