Ensemble in Residence

This is a prestigious and exciting appointment with many high-profile opportunities to perform and represent the University throughout the year.

 

The Ensemble in Residence competition 2017 is now closed.

 

Applications to become the Ensemble in Residence 2018/19 will open in April 2018.

Past engagements include:

In return, the ensemble will receive £2,000 to support their development. This can be spent on items including music, equipment, clothing and photography. A proportion of the fund will be spent on ensemble coaching.

Applications are invited from existing ensembles as well as from newly-formed groups. They can be instrumental, vocal, or a combination of the two. Ensembles can consist of undergraduates, post-graduate students, and recent graduates with a maximum of six members.

421 - 2016/17 - Saxophone trio

Perfect Fifth - 2015/16 - A Cappella quintet

Formation - 2014/15 - Jazz sextet
