  • Tues 10:00 - 12:00 (term only)

  • Wed 10:00 - 12:00 (term + vacation)

  • Thurs 14:00 - 16:00 (term only)

Di&L is a joint initiative between IT Services (ITS), the Centre for Staff Training and Development (CSTD) and the Centre for the Development Of Teaching and Learning (CDOTL) to offer staff and students a flexible way of getting help and advice with IT training.

  • Drop in & Learn sessions are held throughout the year as indicated above

  • They are available to both staff and students of the University of Reading

  • Training materials are provided for those who want to learn a particular IT Skill - see Online Training for further details
  • A member of the IT Services Help staff is at hand to get you started with the materials
  • Appropriate training materials are provided so that you can work through them with your own example files

Note that Di&L is not intended to answer specific computing problems that users may have. These should be directed in the first instance to ITS Help.

Content Management System Help Sessions

For help with any queries or problems you may be experiencing using the CMS, you can book through CSTD one of the CMS Help sessions listed in Employee Self Service, which are held in Sail 105 on the first floor of the Library on a regular basis

The trainer will contact you a few days prior to the session to find out more about your query and to offer you a time slot of 15-30 minutes in which you should attend the session.
