Internet Access:

• Access to the Internet via JANET.
• readingConnect student internet access in halls of residence.

Data Network:

Connecting University Buildings to the Campus Network.

File Storage inc 'N' & 'Collab' drives:

All staff have a standard storage allocation and are entitled to collaborative share workspace.

Wireless Service:

Access to the Eduroam and UoR-Guest Wifi networks are free at the point of use, however, increased coverage is an enhanced service.

Backup Service:

All 'N' & 'Collab' drives are backed up daily as standard.

VM Server Guideline price per year hosting, inc. all maintenance is £4210

Based on:

Twin core server, 8GB RAM, 50GB system partition, 50GB Data Storage, Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Server.
