e-Research Open Meeting 18 June 2008

An open meeting on e-Research at the University of Reading was held on Weds 18 June in the Gordon Lecture Theatre.

By e-Research we mean the development and application of ICT to advance research across the whole range of academic disciplines, including what is commonly called e-Science. Reading has a number of significant concentrations of e-Research activity, many of them leading their field nationally.

The event gave updates on various e-Research initiatives relevant to the University.
