Parking at Halls
Halls Student Parking
Students are not normally permitted to bring their vehicles onto campus. Concessionary permits may be issued, subject to the provision of satisfactory evidence supporting the qualifying information. Please note that the University will not reimburse the cost of obtaining any suitable evidence. Granting a permit does not guarentee the availability of a parking space. All applications by students will be considered on an individual basis. The following qualifying information (suitably evidenced) will be considered in deciding whether a consessionary permit will be granted.
In no case is a permit guaranteed.
Application Process
Please note: The allocation of permits for parking at the Halls is managed by the University Campus Services team and the Halls staff are unable to deal with parking queries or issue permits.
A student may apply for a parking permit once s/he has completed on line enrolment. The closing date for student applications is the last working day of Fresher's week i.e. the week before the teaching term begins.
A student starting a course part way through the academic year may apply for a parking permit within ten working days of completing their on line enrolment.
A student who has applied for and been granted a permit will receive an email informing them that the application has been successful within 10 working days of submitting the application.
