Postgraduate resources

In addition to support provided by Schools and Departments, administrative support for taught postgraduate students registered in the Faculty of Science is provided by the Joint Faculty Office, located in the Geography building on the Whiteknights campus. Administrative support for postgraduate research students is provided by the University's Graduate School.

The Joint Faculty Office can help with:

• Tuition fee queries
• Degree programme and module enrolment queries
• Registration statements for banking and / or visa purposes
• Extensions and suspensions of registration
• Extenuating circumstances processes
• Other general enquiries

Support is also available from the Student Services helpdesk in the Carrington Building.

Graduate training in Science

The University's Graduate School runs a series of workshops and on-line courses to provide generic research and transferable skills training for postgraduate research students in the Faculty of Science. The programme supplements the subject-specific research training provided at School and Departmental level.

Study spaces on campus
