Timetabling

We create and manage timetables for all schools and departments at the University of Reading. If you have any queries with regards to your timetabling needs then please contact us.

We currently use an online tool, Facility Online, to display the current timetable. You will need a University username and password to access this facility. As a member of staff you can look at the following timetables:

• Room
• student
• lecturer
• department
• course
• module

(Please note: the timetable 'classgroup' is not used at the University of Reading).

You can find all of the above when you login. On the home page & click on 'Timetables'.

Also, on the timetabling home page, you can click on 'Multiple Resource Timetables'. These are useful if you need to choose various modules for instance, rather than looking at the timetable for one module.

There is also a heading for 'Room booking'. We are still having problems with this section of the website as it  shows only ad-hoc room bookings and not timetabled events. If you need to know about room availability it is safer to contact us directly by email.
