The term 'e-Learning' refers to education which is enhanced by the use of technology. Other terms Man with laptopyou might hear related to e-Learning are 'Technology Enhanced Learning', 'Blended Learning' and 'Learning Technologies'. e-Learning can cover a broad range of technological uses, from the use of Powerpoint to enhance presentations to students using online discussion boards to collaborate and share resources.

Here at Reading, use of technology for these purposes is expanding rapidly and it's the e-Learning Team's role within CDoTL to support and help supplement that expansion.

In this area of the website, you can find out about current and ongoing projects, how you can get resources and training to use technology yourself and information on issues affected by increasing use of these tools, such as accessibility and copyright.
