Engage in Teaching and Learning
CDoTL will shortly be launching its new blog called Engage in Teaching and Learning.
Through regular contributions from staff it is hoped the blog will become a dynamic and speedy mechanism by which to disseminate T&L-related information across the University.
The key aims of the blog will be to;
- Rapidly disseminate T&L news, including relevant updates from T&L committees and policy updates to a wide audience
- Provide colleagues throughout the University with the opportunity to highlight good practice, to provide one another with support (e.g. in the form of 'top tips' etc.) and to reflect on T&L initiatives.
A working model of the blog is under development and will be fully launched during the Summer Term 2012. A call for articles will be sent out via the usual mailing lists in due course.
Teaching Matters
From its launch in 2007 until the latest printed edition in 2011, Teaching Matters offered a wealth of news and features from across the University's teaching & learning community with the aim of promoting innovation and best practice in enhancing the student learning experience here at Reading and beyond.
The termly publication invited submissions from staff who wished to share their news and views on T&L developments with their colleagues, covering topics as diverse as the University of Reading Teaching Fellowship Scheme and how to get the best out of Blackboard.
