Senior Tutor

Each School has a named Senior Tutor (see the list of Senior Tutors). The Senior Tutor plays a keyLibrary 14 role in supporting the Personal Tutorial system in terms of:

  • Providing support to Personal Tutors
  • Overseeing the PDP provision in each School
  • Co-ordinating administration relating to the Personal Tutor System (e.g. providing overall attendance figures to Staff/Student Committee each term).

Senior Tutor lunches

Termly lunches are organised for Senior Tutors and the agenda for meetings are set and agreed by the Senior Tutors. If you have any suggestions for future meetings please contact Sarah Morey(s.morey@reading.ac.uk).

Extra meeting

There will be an extra Senior Tutor meeting run by Counselling on 16 February 2010, 11.30 - 12.30 in HumSS 44. There will be information for Tutors about the support available to students from the Counselling Service. Please book via CSTD.
