Rewards and Recognition
CDoTL co-ordinates a number of University funding schemes to support teaching enhancement and details of each main fund can be found within this section. Contact CDoTL to discuss project ideas, to gain help in writing proposals and to identify funding sources.
Recognition
CDoTL runs the University Teaching Fellowship Scheme and Early Career University Teaching Fellowship Scheme. Details of these schemes and how to apply can be found in this section.
The Centre also supports the University's nominees to the HEA's National Teaching Fellowship Scheme, which rewards individuals who make outstanding contributions to the student learning experience.

Awards
Each year CDoTL works with the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Learning, the Faculty Directors of Teaching and Learning and the VP Education in RUSU to co-ordinate the University teaching awards. In 2011/12 the Centre will be running the University Awards for Outstanding Contributions to Teaching and Learning, the University Awards for Outstanding Contributions to Teaching and Learning (Team), and the RUSU Award for Outstanding Contributions to Teaching and Learning (Gold Star Awards), full details of which are given in this section.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) programme is run by CSTD with contributions from CDoTL. Every year a New Lecturers Project Prize is awarded to the member of staff most likely to influence teaching and learning in their School and/or discipline.
Lump sum payments and rewards are available for staff. Heads of School and Directorate receive information from Human Resources about these awards every year.
