Future Developments

A key part of the remit of the RISIS Development and Support Office is to develop the provision of further functionality and facilities to the wider University community.

After successful implentation of the Online Helpdesk and Online Module Selection in the Session 2007-08, plans for the Session 2008-09 include:

• Developing further statistical reports for Schools and Departments;
• Developing facilities on the RISISweb staff portal, particularly providing customised reports for Schools.
• Further development to the individual web portals for students, allowing students to view and update more of their fee and scholarship data on the RISISweb portal.
• Further development of the links between Blackboard and RISIS for both students and staff in the context of the ongoing implementation of the Blackboard Academic Suite.
