Placement tests
If you have some previous experience in the language you wish to study you will be required to take a placement test before registering on IWLP. The test will help us place you in the class most appropriate to your ability.
Remember: this is not an academic test. Do not use dictionaries or grammars, nor seek any help in doing this - we want a snapshot of what level you have reached so far, so that we can place you in the class most appropriate for your ability.

Once you have completed the placement test please return it as soon as possible to the ISLC Admin Office in HumSS 204. Alternatively you can upload scanned copies to our website for electronic submission.
REGISTRATION IS COMPLETED ONLY WHEN WE HAVE RECEIVED THE TEST AND CONFIRMED VIA EMAIL YOU HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN OBTAINING A PLACE.
