Biographical details:

Prue Griffiths joined the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Reading in 1986. She has taught Biology on the International Foundation Programme since that time and Environmental Science since 1991. She also teaches Academic Skills and is a member of the team of Personal Tutors to students on the International Foundation Programme. In addition to her lectureship in the School of Biological Sciences, she holds lectureships with the Department of Geography and the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies, teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

She was lecturer in Biology, Ecology and Physical Science with the University of Maryland from 1986 to 1991 and has also taught in the secondary school sector. She has worked as a reviewer and editor for Macmillan Publishers and an A-level examiner with the University of London Examining Board. She is also a school governor.
