Ms Pippa Boyd
Pippa joined ICRC as a Research Fellow in August 2010 to conduct research into mainstreaming sustainability, with Dr Libby Schweber. Her interests include corporate sustainability, organizational and strategic change and renewable energy. She is particularly interested in micro-generation technologies and the challenges which their use poses to households, communities and industry.
Pippa is a trained engineer and has a postgraduate diploma in Production Methods and Management. She is currently in the process of completing her MSc in Renewable Energy at Reading. Her MSc dissertation analysed renewable energy potential within small towns and offered an evaluation of possible community generation schemes. Prior to her current role, Pippa worked extensively as an engineer and later as an industry consultant. She has management and organisational design experience.
