Design and decision tools for low impact large infrastructure projects

What is your research about?

I am doing my research on decision making tools for construction projects.  Every day we receive and create thousands of pieces of information: I am looking at how to identify and filter out the useful information in order to facilitate the best decision making for every stage within the construction project.  This will help build up a more effective and efficient construction sector.

Why did you choose the University of Reading for your PhD?

I am so glad to be conducting my research in the school of Construction Management and Engineering, as I can continue researching the topic I have been interested in since the start of my MSc. The staff are nice and I have good friends here in Reading. I have been receiving all kinds of support and advice from my supervisors, and have good communication with my colleagues in a friendly environment. I am currently very much enjoying my research, and I believe that upon completion it will be of good use.
