Centralisation and Decentralisation of Decisions: Digital Repositories and Social Media in Design Delivery

What is your research about?

My research draws attention to the interrelations between organization and digital technologies in large projects. It involves several different aspects of study. Currently, I addressed my focus on the interaction between centralised and decentralised approaches to technology (digital repositories and social media); and the consideration of how decisions draw on data from centralised and decentralised sources.

Why did you choose the University of Reading for your PhD?

First of all, the reputation. The University of Reading is the Top Ranking University for Research. Secondly, Design Innovation Research Centre is a young team which, to me, means energetic and passionate, also its strong connection with Industries that can bring a lot more opportunities beside research. And last but not least, I am attracted by the distance to London and to the south coast of England.
