CIDCA Symposium, Hong Kong

Professor Stuart Green (ICRC) and C.K. Mak (Vice Chairman of CICID)The Centre for Infrastructure & Construction Industry Development (CICID) at The University of Hong Kong hosted a one day symposium on Construction Industry Development: Comparison & Acceleration (CIDCA).

The symposium discussed research by Professor Stuart Green and Dr Chung Chin Kao on a comparative analysis of construction industry reform in the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore (All Change in Construction: A Comparative Analysis of Construction Industry Reform in the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore).

Professor George Ofori (National University of Singapore), Professor Stuart Green (ICRC) and Professor Mohan Kumaraswamy (The University of Hong Kong)The event was an important milestone in a research project on Evaluating Construction Industry Development, supported by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council, and launched in parallel with comparative studies in Singapore and UK.
