Certificate in Obesity Management - Course fees and bursaries
The fees for the course to be held in 2011-12 is £500 for NHS applicants and £750 for non-NHS.
Bursaries towards the course fees may be available from the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Applications are also invited for the Caroline Murphy Educational Bursary. Caroline Murphy was a Community Dietitian who tragically lost her life in a road traffic accident in December 2007 at the age of 27. Caroline had developed a particular interest in obesity where she was rapidly becoming an acclaimed expert. She was very passionate about the treatment of obesity and had a profound effect on both patients and colleague alike. The Remembering Caroline Murphy Fund was established to actively keep alive the memory of Caroline through fund raising activities including an Educational Bursary. This bursary is in recognition of achievement or planned activity in the area of obesity research or service development. There will be a bursary available for one applicant per course.
