Feedback for this event hasagain  been overwhelmingly positive.  We are grateful for and encouraged by the comments here:

  • Thank you very much for an informative day, my students have come back buzzing. Please can we come back next year?'Deborah Wiltshire, Abbeyfield School, Chippenham.
  • 'Thanks for yesterday. On a teacher level, I would like to say that my pupils really enjoyed themselves and it certainly gave them a taster for Classics at Uni. It was particularly useful with the Latin AS that it was so aimed at the syllabus.' Danielle O'Laoire, Farnborough Hill.
  • 'I would like to thank you again for organising the event. Your choice of speakers was excellent. They were all authoritative on their subject, but also engaged very well with the young audience. Events of this kind are not always all that useful for supporting work in the classroom, but your speakers did an excellent job of reinforcing and extending what we do in lessons .'  Cornelia Van Der Poll, Aylesbury Grammar School.

We were delighted to welcome again so many teachers and students this time. For further information, please contact Professor Barbara Goff: b.e.goff@reading.ac.uk or 0118 378 5172.
