Life at History

Students relaxing on campusAs a student with us you will become an important part of both our School and the department and you will be helped to settle in during the Postgraduate welcome week events. We offer a high number of successful programmes and attract a large number of students each year, in turn this offers an excellent opportunity to make many new friends and meet new people. You will be encouraged to participate in social evenings, seminars and events as you widen your social and academic community, both within your subject area and within both the School of Humanities and the Graduate School for Arts and Humanities.

There is a healthy student community which is a vital part of the School and during your time with us, you will be able to take part in the Staff/Student Committees within each subject area and provide the School with valuable feedback.
