A PhD: What, me?

Interested in doing a PhD but unsure about what it involves?

The Graduate School will be hosting an event designed to demystify the PhD. If you are a current Undergraduate or Taught Postgraduate student interested in going on to PhD study but need help to decide if it is something you would like to commit to, we encourage you to attend this workshop.

These Topics covered will include:

  • Entry requirements
  • The admissions process
  • Writing a research proposal
  • How the Graduate School can support you
  • Funding opportunities at Reading
