Areas of Interest:

My research interests focus on both film and television, aiming to combine industrial analysis with close textual analysis. My work has particular focus on youth and female representation in film and television, popular music in film and television, US television drama and television industries. My work has an interdisciplinary focus, drawing on cultural studies and popular music studies, alongside the inter-relationship between film and television studies.
