A copy of the report is available on this site. See: Annual report on the implementation of the UK National Control Plan

The Agency has published the fifth annual report on the implementation of the National Control Plan (UK NCP - January 2007 to March 2013), which covers progress in 2011.

The report, which satisfies a requirement of Regulation (EC) No 882/2004, has been prepared jointly by the Agency, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and its agencies; the Scottish Government’s Rural and Environment Directorate, the Welsh Assembly Government’s Department for Rural Affairs, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for Northern Ireland and the Chemicals Regulation Directorate of the Health and Safety Executive.

The report informs the European Commission on progress in achieving the objectives of the UK NCP. It also summarises the results of official controls and associated activities undertaken by the competent authorities and associated bodies and outlines the findings of performance audits.

The report will be used by the Food and Veterinary Office in planning audits of UK control arrangements. Together with reports prepared by other Member States, it will also contribute to a report from the Commission to the Council and European Parliament on the overall operation of official controls across the European Community.
