SUPPLEMENTS - DMAA sports supplements now classed as unlicensed medicines

 Following an assessment by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), products containing the sports supplement DMAA are to be removed from sale in the UK. The MHRA has ruled that these are unlicensed medicinal products and subject to medicine controls.

The FSA has previously warned against consuming products containing DMAA.
