MEAT HYGIENE - Euro Freeze ( Ireland ) Ltd: update on FSA prosecution case

On 1 June 2007, the Food Standards Agency was advised by letter from the Court Service that the conviction against Euro Freeze (Ireland) Ltd, which was secured at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on 9 May 2007, has been voided by the Court following a declaration by the Company Secretary of the company that she was unaware of the summons or proceedings relating to the case.

FSA Northern Ireland officials are in discussion with the Public Prosecution Service to consider how to further proceed on the matter.
