ENFORCEMENT - Guidance for local authorities on validating food law enforcement data

Guidance for local authorities on how to undertake an internal validation of food law enforcement data before submitting monitoring form returns to the Agency.

It is important that the data submitted by local authorities to the Agency is accurate. To assist, guidance has been produced that outlines the key principles local authorities may find helpful to follow before submitting data. The guidance has been written following a programme of focussed audits looking at the provision of statistical monitoring data and includes details of reports that can be run from local authority databases to assist with validating the data.

Examples of good practice for database maintenance procedures identified during the focussed audits are also available.

For a copy of the guidance, see Guidance Note
