Applications for Registration of Protected Designation of Origin / Geographical Indication
Three applications for protection under Article 6(2) of Regulation 2081/92 have been published in the OJ C343. They relate to the following:
- Spain (PGI): Type of product: Fresh meat - Class 1.1: Lechazo de Castilla y Leön (meat from both male and female suckling lambs of certain specified breeds)
- Ireland (PDO): Type of product: Cheese: Imokilly Regato (cow’s milk cheese made in Dairygold Mogeely)
- France (PDO): Type of product: Class 1.6 - Vegetables: Coco de Paimpol (a semi-dry haricot bean for shelling presented in pod)
Any objections must be submitted within 6 months of publication.
