Origin Marking - Additional names proposed for protection
Further to the information given on the 7 March, the Commission has added two more proposed names to the list of those seeking protection. Both are Austrian - one is a meat-based product seeking a protected geographical indication (PGI) and the other a cheese seeking protected designation of origin (PDO).
The list will be discussed at a meeting on the 20 May.
