Please find attached a Draft Commission Regulation amending Directive 2002/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list of mineral substances that can be added to food supplements.
This draft Commission Regulation includes (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt as a source of folate to the list set out in Annex II of Directive 2002/46/EC following a request by a petitioner and the adoption of a favourable opinion by EFSA (adopted on 11 September 2013). http://www.efsa.europa.eu/en/efsajournal/pub/3358.htm
