ADDED SUBSTANCES - Draft Commission Regulation including Ephedra and Yohimbe in Annex III of Regulation (EC) NO 1925/2006

Please see the attached draft regulation which will add Ephedra species in Annex III, Part A of Regulation (EC) No 1925/2006 so that its addition to foods or its use in the manufacture of foods shall be prohibited. It will also include Yohimbe (Pausinystalia yohimbe (K. Schum.) Pierre ex Beille in Annex III, Part C of Regulation (EC) NO 1925/2006, which lists substances where safety concerns have been raised but scientific uncertainty exists and will be kept under scrutiny.
